DOOM - The Movie

This passion goes back to the time I first saw QUAKE III ARENA. I remember my Project Manager playing this game on his 17″ Monitor (used to feel quite big in those days) in the office. Subsequently I played the game to the fullest and it became my favourite weapon to vent any office frustration that I had carried home. It was my wish that they could make a movie on QUAKE III ARENA which had some lively characters and weapons.
Now I hear that the famous cult game DOOM is made into a full movie by Universal Pictures and is ready for release on October 21st, 2005. Although I bought a licensed copy of DOOM I could never play it since my machine couldn’t handle the awesome graphics the game wanted to display. At 512 RAM and a 128MB ATI RADEON card, I thought it could run easily. I haven’t tried playing it ever since my latest upgrade but I am definitely looking forward to installing it again before I go and watch the movie :-) Both QUAKE and DOOM have been created by ID Software.
